    Corporate Team Building Ideas!

Corporate team building activities are a great way to improve relations between your staff and can as a result increase general communication in the workplace. They are also a great way to get together for a bit of fun! We have put together some of our favourite ideas:

    Wine Tastings

Wine tastings are a great entertaining and educational opportunity to bring your staff together. With a private room, cheese plates and great wines on offer, we suggest the Oak Barrel for your next wine tasting session allowing a relaxed and informative social occasion, oh and did we mention the wine!

    Corporate Crime Scene Investigation

This is a fun and quirky team building activity that will allow your staff to work together to solve a murder mystery! An actual crime scene will be created and small crime scene teams will dust for prints and search for clues to the heroes of the day! Some companies provide investigation, autopsy and trace reports to add authenticity to the activity!

    Scavenger Hunts

Scavenger hunts are great fun and you can either set them up yourself or ask for help! A bit of friendly competition with a prize up for grabs is always fun, forcing your staff to keep their eyes peeled for hidden treasures. This is a very versatile activity and can take place anywhere from a local park, or with permission of course, somewhere more interesting like an aquarium for example.

    Cooking Classes

With cooking shows, such as Masterchef and My Kitchen Rules, taking over prime time television, why not give your team a fun filled day of cooking! Cooking in teams is a great way to interact in an informal situation will laughter being a customary action for your ‘chefs’. You will see your team cooking up their own culinary delights! Best of all, you get to eat your creations at the end, yum!

    The Benefits of Event Sponsorship

Sponsoring an event can give your brand a lot of positive publicity. Not only will you benefit from endless amounts of exposure both before and during the event, but you could also benefit from strong brand affiliations.

We recently attended an event for luxury brands that was hosted at a premium location in Sydney. There were a number of partners involved, but the one I am going to focus on is the catering partner. I previously hadn’t perceived them to be high end and thought that their services were more suited to low budget events. The catering company had recently launched the fine dining arm of their business and by sponsoring the event they immediately positioned themselves at the top of their game to their new high-end clients.  In one night they achieved what takes their competitors months of hard work and a lot of money.

Strong brand alliances can do wonders for your business.

In a world where corporate social responsibility is becoming increasingly important, solid third party relationships can do wonders for your business.

For instance, by becoming an event sponsor for a charity not only are you supporting a great cause but you’re also benefitting from exposure to a new database of consumers.

We are currently working with a number of brands and charities looking for appropriate event sponsors. If you are interested in benefitting from brand affiliation, then find out more by emailing events@frolicevents.com.au.

Some of our Favourite Activities for Client Entertainment

It is a well known fact that if you treat your clients like your loved ones they are more likely to remain loyal to you through the tough times. Building relationships outside the office environment can be incredibly beneficial and here are some of our favourite activities:

    Cooking Classes

Cooking classes have always been a popular activity, but we’ve found an experience that knocks the socks off traditional classes. The Cheeky Food Group run superb cooking classes from their studio in Surry Hills. Whether your clients are confident cooks or absolute beginners they are guaranteed to learn something new and have a really fun time while doing it. It’s definitely not your ordinary cooking class and something we suggest everyone should try.

    Designer Dinners

We are blessed to have some cracking restaurants in Sydney, but it’s tough work finding somewhere that your guests haven’t been to before. We are launching a ‘Designer Dinner’ service at a central location where your guests probably haven’t been before. Everything will be personally designed to order from the style of menu to the accompanying beverage selection. If you are after the ultimate unique dining experience email us for more information.

    Family Picnic

This event is definitely something to put on the list for summer. Picnics are an economic & family friendly way of entertaining clients. We have a list of beautiful locations where informal or formal picnics can be hosted. Catering can be as simple as gourmet picnic hampers and self-service beverages to going all out and hiring caterers so you too can sit back and enjoy your day.

    Energetic Experiences

Why not organise something different that you don’t do everyday. Sailing classes on Sydney Harbour or Hot Air Balloon rides over the Hunter Valley are great ways to say thank you to your best clients while getting to know them that little bit better.

Frolic Events regularly organise out of the box corporate activities so if you are planning your next event, contact us to see if we can assist.
